Oven Baked Fried Chicken

So a lot of people, including myself love fried chicken, the only problem being that with every bite you’re clogging up your arteries, so here’s a better healthier option to take.

Ingredients:

  • 100g plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking power
  • spice and herb mix (cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic power, chilli power, sage, oregano, rosemary)
  • 2 chicken thighs

Step 1: Combine the flour, baking power and the herb & spice mix and place them along with the chicken thighs into a bag and give it a good shake-a-roo, take the thighs out and give it a shake to get the excess flour off

Step 2: Place the chicken on a foil covered oven tray, with a dash of oil on it, put it into the oven at 200° for 20 minutes, then turn it over on the other side for another 20 minutes

Step 3: Take it out of the oven and let it cool on a cooling rack, then your healthier fried chicken is ready to eat!
